Our occupational therapists and physiotherapists assist with adaptive furniture and equipment. They can assist with the selection of equipment to cater for the needs of the student. When possible, the furniture or equipment will be loaned to the class teacher to trial with the student for a period of time.

Examples of adaptive furniture: cut out desks, height adjustable desks and height adjustable or CAP/Kelly chairs.

Examples of equipment: adaptive feeding equipment such as spoons or bowls, weighted equipment, move 'n' sit cushions, wedges, fit balls, adaptive scissors and pencil grips, slopeboards.
