iPad and Mobile Technology and Children with Special Needs

20/02/2013

Does your child use an iPad, iPod, tablet or similar electronic device to support their learning, communication, social skills or behaviour?

James Cook University is seeking parents and carers as participants to provide insight into the use of this technology by children aged between 0-14 years in the North Queensland region with special learning, behaviour or communication needs.

This represents and opportunity for parents and caregivers to provide their perspective on this technology.

Participation involves completion of an online survey of approximately 15 minutes duration. Participants also have the option of nominating for a face to face interview to further discuss the topic.

Please refer to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FPNVGK8 or via facebook page iPad and Mobile Technology and Children with Special Needs for information or to complete the survey.
Please contact Debra Cross of James Cook University at debra.cross@myjcu.edu.au if you have any questions in regard to this research.
