Pimlico State High School Benefit Concert

Each year Pimlico State High School hold a concert for the benefit of a local organisation. For the 2013 Concert all funds raised through the sale of tickets will go towards our school – Townsville Community Learning Centre. The Pimlico State High School Symphony Orchestra is the premier ensemble at the school and is recognised as one of Queensland’s most exciting and dynamic ensembles. Each year, through their Benefit Concert, the orchestra raises money for local organisations. In the past five years, the Orchestra has raised over $30 000 for Head Space, The Townsville Hospital Foundation, Dragons Abreast, White Ribbon and the YWAM Hospital Ship. Funds raised have been through ticket sales alone. As mentioned previously the Concert is for our school’s benefit this year.

The Benefit Concert will be held on Friday 18 October at 7.30pm in the JCU Sir George Kneipp Auditorium. A standard ticket costs $25 and a gold ticket is $30. Gold tickets give patrons the opportunity to further support TCLC and entitle the ticket holder to light supper and drinks during interval. Tickets are available from Pimlico State High School – 4759 3444.
