NAIDOC Week Assembly

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July (7-14 July) to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. As the official NAIDOC week takes place during the school holidays, TCLC students participated in early celebrations with various activities during the week including assembly. The signing choir in their new choir shirts performed the Australian National Anthem, Taba Naba and Didgeridoo.
