New Sensory Toolkit for TCLC

​Two JCU Occupational Therapy students, Alice Roper and Stephanie Schrader, recently created a resource for teachers to use in the classroom that informs them of strategies and resources for sensory processing disorders.

The project was designed to achieve two goals: to provide strategies and resources for teachers regarding the sensory processing needs of students; and for teachers to be more aware of when to refer students for occupational therapy.

Their work has been greatly appreciated by the staff at the school.
