Challenge Games

3/08/2011

This year's Challenge Games was a great success, with over 800 students from all over north Queensland competing. TCLC had the largest representation, with 70 students competing at the carnival. Our students were successful in winning many ribbons across track and field events, soccer and paralympic sports. Some events the students competed in were vortex, bean bag toss, frisbee, running, wheelchair races slalom, long jump, shot put and ball games.

This year four students were entered in the invitational trials - Emma, Steven, Kevin and Jon. This was a great experience for them and they are to be congratulated on their efforts. Jon and Emma did exceptionally well and were selected to compete at the NQ Trials later this year.

All students are to be congratulated on their behaviour and for the way they represented TCLC over the two days.

The disco this year was also a big hit with 300 students attending.
